Since Ukrainian digital minister Mykhailo Fedorov appealed for help in February, Elon Musk has sent internet kits from his Starlink service to Ukraine. These boxes, transported by truck, have enabled isolated villages to regain an internet connection. Following this first support, the billionaire even received a call for help from a Ukrainian commander who was among the besieged forces in Mariupol.
In this video, the journalist from the Actu of Release Elise Viniacourt deciphers the donation of Starlink kits to Ukrainian populations. A nice publicity stunt from Elon Musk for a service still unknown to the general public, because of its high impact and its ban on use in several countries, including France. This boost from the CEO of SpaceX also maintains the cult that has formed around his personality. On social networks, some even elevate him to the rank of superhero of the war in Ukraine.
