“It’s a good thing that a person like Elon Musk is looking for a peaceful solution to this situation,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a press conference.
Before, however, recalling that in Russia’s eyes, the acceptance of Russian demands is an essential prerequisite to any peace negotiation process.
“Unlike many professional diplomats, Elon Musk is always trying to achieve peace. And achieving peace without accepting Russian demands is completely impossible,” he continued.
Elon Musk defends himself
After being severely tackled by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Elon Musk however defended himself from any support for Russia, highlighting the help offered to Ukraine through his Internet satellite connection service, Starlink. .
“The cost for SpaceX (parent company of Starlink) to deploy Starlink in Ukraine is around 80 million dollars, so far. Our support for Russia is 0 dollars. Obviously, we are pro-Ukraine” has thus assured Elon Musk.
On Twitter, Elon Musk nevertheless highlighted the larger Russian population against the Ukrainians, giving in his eyes a large advantage to Russia in the conflict.
