BANGKOK (Reuters) – Representatives of the United States and several other countries walked out of a ministerial meeting of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) forum on Saturday as their Russian counterpart spoke to protest against Russia’s military offensive in Ukraine, officials said.

The Americans were accompanied by representatives from Canada, New Zealand, Japan and Australia.

APEC brings together 21 countries. The meeting started on Saturday should last two days.
