Jamel Debbouze, dressed in the colors of the Moroccan team, shared his joy with his neighbor on the occasion of a story on Instagram: “Historical Day” (“Historical Day”), he slipped. Congrats to Morocco, it’s FOUUUUU! And it’s not stolen!!”he greeted before encouraging the Blues, who also play their quarter-final on Saturday 10 December.

Even the singer Shakira, whose entourage had nevertheless announced that she would boycott the competition, congratulated the Atlas Lions with a “This time for Africa!!” accompanied by the Moroccan flag in reference to the famous chorus of his hit “Waka-Waka”, anthem from the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.

“Congratulations to this incredible team from Morocco who mark a fantastic first place for Africa in World Cup history!”, also greeted Sports Minister Amélie Oudéa-Castéra on his official Twitter account.
