Lili, actress female dog! – All free news in one click

Chantal Lauby, everyone knows her! Revealed on Canal + with Les Nuls, chaining films and achievements, the actress recently starred in the very successful trilogy What did we do to God. But do you know Lili?

Nathalie Dunand: Chantal Lauby, thank you first of all for telling us about Lili. Info-chalon regularly retraces the stories that unite a master and his pet. So, how did Lili come into your life?

Chantal Lauby: Oh that ! I owe it to Jenn, girl! [Jennifer Ayache, la chanteuse du groupe pop rock français Superbus NDLR]. I have always had dogs. But when my previous dog died – a Labrador cross spaniel – I waited 10 years, I didn’t have the heart to bear another loss. And then Lili arrived unexpectedly.
It was Jenn who found her in a SPA. She was only 2 months old. She was very small, “gray-haired”, she looked like a rat! (laughs) It’s a mixture of Jack Russel and Dachshund. The first time Jenn showed it to me, I exclaimed: what is this thing? I took her in my arms and then, voila, it was good! Ferree! I take it everywhere with me.

NA: Lili in Paris, isn’t it complicated?

Chantal Lauby: No really. I take her on the quays of the Seine, on the islands, in Boulogne with friends who also have their dog. We do our 4 walks a day. It’s her who takes me out, in fact.

There is a very nice book by Jean-Louis Fournier called Thanks WHO ? Thanks, my dog. It is a very tender eulogy on the relationship between a dog and his master. I recognize myself in his words.

NA: Yes, there are on the one hand some people who find the attachment of a master and his dog ridiculous and, on the other, big names – Voltaire, Hugo, Claudel, Houellebecq and so on – who are agree that the dog awakens our own humanity…

Chantal Lauby: Yes that’s exactly it. When I do my shopping, I don’t go to the department stores, I prefer to go to my caterer who accepts Lili. She lies down at my feet and does not move. However, I have sometimes heard people rant “I thought dogs were forbidden in stores! you know, in a pinched tone, not addressing me. Without the slightest humanity precisely. These are probably the rare occasions when I give free rein to my anger. When you think about it, are these people’s soles cleaner than dogs’ paws? I let you imagine… I have no patience for this kind of people, who are often unpleasant.

It’s unfortunate that so many hotels refuse dogs just because some guests complain. We should be able to go on vacation anywhere with our dog, right?

And when I think of people who have to part with their animal to enter an EHPAD… It’s sad! However, we have long recognized the soothing effect of animals on our psychic balance, our memory, and not only! These are all additional reasons for dropouts.

NA: Do you really take Lili everywhere, even on your shoots?

Chantal Lauby: Yes, sometimes it is specified in the contracts. I take my precautions: I hire someone to take Lili out when I’m filming. I manage with her, without making waves. On the last Good God [Qu’est-ce qu’on a tous fait au Bon Dieu, NDLR], Lili was the mascot! Everyone knew her! Clavier called her “the bestiasse” (laughs).

This is how Lili leads her life as a star, without leaving her mistress for a moment!

And she must have received caresses from actors! In any case, she is doing wonderfully well. Nothing surprising, when one is surrounded by the constant affection of Chantal Lauby!
