Elon Musk wants to go to 4,000 characters

While the number of grades had already increased in 2017, it could increase again. The new owner of the social network has confirmed the plan to go from 280 to 4,000 characters in tweets.

This Sunday, December 11 Elon Musk announced the development of a flagship feature in the social network: number of characters per tweet. Originally this was limited to 140until it is changed to 280 in 2017.

From now on it will soon be possible to publish messages of 4000 characters in the news feed, as suggested by the majority shareholder in response to a user. Users no longer need to resort to threadsa series of tweets via comments.

Eventually, messages of 4,000 characters will return to being typed 14 tweets.

Return of the Twitter Blues

After that, it will be able to use many premium features, such as decrease in ads in their news feed, or highlight tweets and comments in priority.
