4th Reich, war with France, Elon Musk president… Dmitri Medvedev’s worrying predictions for 2023

The former Russian president and close friend of Vladimir Putin, Dmitry Medvedev, issued strange predictions for the year 2023 on Twitter, announcing many disasters around the world.

What was going through the mind of Dmitry Medvedev? The former Russian president and former prime minister of Vladimir Putin, who is still very close to the master of the Kremlin (he is the deputy head of the Security Advisory Council), published a series of astonishing “predictions” for the year 2023 on his account Twitter.

“Everyone is making predictions right now. Many are making futuristic hypotheses, as if to find the craziest and even the most absurd. Here is my humble contribution,” he warned in the preamble to his message.

After estimating that the prices of oil and gas will explode ($150 per barrel for the first, $5,000 per 1,000 m3 for the second), the Russian leader confirmed that Britain will re-enter the European Union, which will cause the collapse of the continental organization and will cause the euro to disappear.

A 4th Reich in Europe

Then Poland and Hungary will start occupying western Ukraine. Europe will see the rise of a “Fourth Reich” comprising “Germany and its satellites, i.e. Poland, the Baltic States, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, the Republic of Kiev and other outcasts”. Dmitry Medvedev predicts that France will come into conflict with this bloc and that a war will break out that will divide Europe.

Similarly, Northern Ireland will leave the United Kingdom and join the Republic of Ireland.

Civil War in the United States

In the United States, according to him, a civil war will take place, giving California and Texas the opportunity to become independent. The latter state will also ally with Mexico, the Russian predicts. Then Elon Musk will win the US presidential election, under the Republican banner.

Dmitri Medvedev also estimated that financial activities and the main stock markets will leave the US and Europe to settle in Asia. In fact, the euro and the dollar will cease to be the world’s reserve currencies, while the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank will collapse.

If it is difficult to detect whether these are predictions to be taken to the second degree or the real wishes of the Russian leader, the last message from Dmitri Medvedev, who wishes “happy holidays to everyone, to the Anglo-Saxons and their cheerfully grunting piglets” suggests a new provocation on his part. It has multiplied them since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.

Note that Elon Musk responded, ironically describing the projection as “epic” and calling the predictions “the most absurd (that he’s) ever heard”. He also showed the first degree by considering that the former Russian president shows “stunning ignorance about the advances in artificial intelligence and sustainable energy”.
